Hi again,

I feel more hopeful than I did at the time of my last prior post toward reconnecting with my "AP." Quotes there because I have realized that—although I did wrong my marriage and I do own guilt for that—I didn’t actually have an affair after all

This is pretzel-logic. You start with the result you want and then work backward to rewrite and redefine things so that they are consistent with that result. Not okay to be friends with AP? Then find a way, any way, to redefine them as something other than an AP. If they're not really an AP, then it's possible to renew the relationship, yes?

A few questions for you, that I might have some clarity on your situation.

How did you originally establish the online relationship with your AP?
How long was the relationship from the time it started to the time you went NC?
Was your wife aware of the relationship before D-day or was it something you hid?
How did your wife find out about the relationship?
How long ago did you go NC?

Wondering, from a still EvolvingSoul.
